Last November all clubs across the country, including Greenleas took part in the Silent Support Weekend and after it success the FA have selected this weekends round of fixtures (26th-27th February) to do it once again.
This weekend will however be slightly different. With all the positive feedback this initiative received last time, it was evident that slight changes needed to be made to keep improving the experience for all the players and its spectators.
This time around, all spectators will be asked to continue too stay silent and instead show all their support through clapping during the game.
Coaches WILL be permitted to communicate with the players and coach throughout the game.
We as a club cannot stress enough how important opportunities like this are to the players. A silent touchline allows the players to play the game through their own eyes and encourages them to make their own decisions whether they are right or wrong on the pitch.
Like November, we once again ask that all parents, guardians and spectators within Greenleas Juniors who come to watch this weekend participate and lead the way in the Silent Support Weekend.

Thank you and good luck to all teams playing this weekend.
